Job Title: Health & Safety AssistantLocation:South Africa, Western Cape, City of Cape TownJob Type:Permanent, Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry:Travel, Leisure, Tourism and HospitalitySecondary Industry:EngineeringSalary:ZAR15000 - ZAR18000 Per monthJob Duties:Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and proceduresConduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazardsProvide support in investigating accidents and incidents, and recommend corrective actionsDeliver health and safety training to employees and ensure compliance with regulationsMaintain accurate records of all health and safety activitiesRequired Qualifications:Relevant qualification in Health and Safety or related fieldKnowledge of health and safety legislation and best practisesStrong attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsEducation:Certificate / diploma in Health and Safety or related fieldExperience:2 -3 years of experience in a similar roleKnowledge and Skills:Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications:Health and Safety certificationFirst Aid training
