Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires the services of a reputable Health Consultant specialising in Vitamins and Supplements for their Okavango store. You will be responsible for effectively promoting and selling Dis-Chem Health Focus products through consistent customer service.Minimum Requirements:Essential:Grade 12 / MatricMinimum of 6 months' sales experience in a Vitamins / Health environmentStrong command of the English languageComputer literate – MS OfficeSound numerical skillsWilling and able to work retail hoursAdvantageous:Qualification in BSc Biomedicine and/or BSc Biotechnology, or relevant qualification within the health focus fieldSales experience in a retail environmentExperience in the health industry (vitamins, supplements or health foods)Fluent in a 2nd language prominently spoken in the areaJob Description:Assist and advise customers, and ensure the highest levels of customer care and service are metAssist with back shopping when requested to do so, to ensure the effective operation of the department and storeKeep merchandise displays in the health focus area stocked and faced upReport all price discrepancies to management as they appearAdhere to store layouts within the Health DepartmentEnsure broadsheet items are well displayed, merchandised, promoted and availableImplement promotional displays and merchandising materialAchieve monthly team, brand and vendor targetsKeep abreast with new products and product linesFollow the Health Department's administrative processes and procedures, including, but not limited to, weekly returns, stock control and monitoring of stock levelsCompetencies:Essential:Promotions and personal sellingCustomer serviceStrong command of the English languageBasic report analysisTeam playerTime managementHonest and trustworthyAdvantageous:Product knowledge and stock controlBilingualSpecial Conditions of Employment:Willing and able to work retail hoursAble and physically fit for walking, standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, and pushing, pulling lifting and moving objectsValid driver's license and own reliable transportSouth African citizenClear credit and criminal recordsRemuneration and Benefits:Market-related salary + commissionMedical aidProvident fundStaff accountONLY SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONTACTED.
