Health And Safety Manager

This role would entail being responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.  Key Responsibilities:Health and Safety ManagementConduct regular risk assessments and lead incident investigationsPlan and conduct internal health and safety audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001 and other relevant standardsMonitor compliance testing for equipment and occupational hygiene findingsEstablish and maintain legal health and safety appointmentsEnvironmental ManagementOversee waste management, environmental impact assessments and sustainability initiativesAchieve and maintain ISO 14001 certification and manage effluent discharge permits and compliancePromote eco-friendly practices and implement continuous environmental improvementsEmployee Engagement and TrainingOrganise and facilitate safety training programs, including hazard awareness and proper PPE usage Requirements:Occupational Health and Safety Diploma or equivalent5 - 10 years experience in a Health and Safety Managerial roleExperience in ISO 14001 and 45001 essential
