Our client situated in the Cape winelands has a vacancy for a H&S Coordinator to join their team.Minimum skills and knowledge required:Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (Afrikaans & English)2-3 years of experience in an OHS / SHEQ environmentGrade 12, Samtrac / Introduction to Samtrac / Nebosh or any other related OHS trainingCode 8 driver's license, must have own transportResponsibilities:Provide Health and Safety and Environmental guidance when required in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Act with Regulations and OHSA 18001 and ISO 14001 (Environment)Manage SHE System Documentation and AdministrationManage system Training & InductionCoordinate Annual H&S program and Health Surveys3 Monthly H&S meeting coordination & administrationAuditing of SHE Rep filesAssist with SHE Procurement and budget managementContractors Induction & auditing of contractor filesAssistance with annual medical checks and compiling annual training matrixPerform Supplier, internal Audits & external certification auditsAct as Stacking Supervisor & scaffolding inspectorIssue Hotwork permitsCompiling of HIRA & SOP with assistance of departmental managerAssist in incident investigation, evaluating the final report
