Job OverviewBusiness Segment: Group FunctionsLocation: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 33To provide specialised & defined strategic enablement support to the three Group Marketing Leaders with specific focus on the articulation of a business strategy enablement plan that ensures plans and deliverables are executed in programmes of work & goals with clear accountabilities. To drive, track and monitor the implementation of the strategic goals by coordinating & managing integrated work streams & teams within and across the three Group Marketing areas. Cascade to and report on strategic decisions, governance requirements and tracking metrics across the Group Marketing areas, the various business units and geographies.QualificationsDegree in Business Commerce, preference will be given to Masters in Business Commerce.Experience:Deep level of experience with regards to strategy enablement, Marketing, Communication and Behavioral Sciences.Proven track record and experience in being a catalyst for organisational change. The incumbent will have a background of full design and development covering multi-tier environments and markets.The role requires a strategic thinker with strong organisational and problem-solving skills, an analytical mind and outstanding presentation skills.Proven organisational capability with regards to strategy development, strategy facilitation, strategy implementation & monitoring, project and change management, research and data management, Change Management and Data Management.Key Responsibilities:Act as a sound advisor and consultant to the Group Marketing Leaders, through the sound understanding of the organisation's context and strategy, unpacking key challenges and/or opportunities, options and choices and potential implications (both positive and negative). Provide support and guidance to the Group Marketing Leaders to make informed decisions.Contribute to the development, refinement and articulation of the Group Marketing strategic enablement plan and ensure alignment to the Standard Bank Corporate strategy, the Business Unit strategies. Communicate the Group Marketing strategic objectives to ensure they are well understood by the Heads of Marketing within Group, Business Units across all regions and countries.Control and coordinate the reporting cycles for the Group Marketing Function, including the monthly Exco reports, quarterly Board packs and annual report. Compile the sections that are allocated to Group Marketing and the Group Marketing Leaders, ensuring adherence to reporting requirements, quality and bearing of the information presented and sharpness of the communication channelled by the Group Marketing Leaders.Develop & drive cost management and budgetary control within the area of control (Strategic Enablement Function) to manage operating expenditure.Develop and coordinate the governance for various committees and forums within Group Marketing.
