Planet Fitness is looking for a Head of Secondary Revenue who will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize non-core revenue streams across the organization. This role involves identifying new opportunities, managing existing secondary revenue channels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, revenue optimization, and strategic planning, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions that enhance the companys overall financial performance. Key Responsibilities Strategic Revenue Growth Define and implement a comprehensive strategy for secondary revenue growth, including partnerships, ancillary products, and other non-core revenue streams. Identify and evaluate new revenue opportunities in line with the companys business goals. Develop innovative pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies to drive revenue. Revenue Channel Management Oversee existing secondary revenue streams, such as advertising, sponsorships, ancillary services, and loyalty programs. Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, vendors, and stakeholders to maximize collaboration and profitability. Monitor and analyze the performance of secondary revenue channels, identifying areas for optimization and improvement. Business Development and Partnerships Identify and secure strategic partnerships that align with the companys vision and revenue objectives. Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure mutual value creation and long-term partnerships. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote secondary revenue initiatives. Data-Driven Decision Making Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform revenue strategies. Develop and track KPIs to measure the success of secondary revenue initiatives. Present regular reports and recommendations to the executive team. Team Leadership and Collaboration Lead a team of professionals focused on secondary revenue initiatives, providing mentorship and development opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, operations, finance, and product to ensure alignment with secondary revenue goals. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team. Education and Experience Skills and Competencies Bachelors degree in business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). 8 years of experience in revenue management, business development, or a related role, with a focus on secondary/ancillary revenue streams. Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth through innovative strategies and partnerships. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities. Proficiency in data analysis tools and financial modeling. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
