We are hiring Head of QHSE where you will be responsible to promote & instill a positive QSHE culture within the workplace, and lead and support all aspects of the AMEA business in its adoption and conformance to all quality, safety, health and environmental legislation, systems, best practice, policies, statements and procedures.

Define and specify activities, processes, and standards to fulfil QHSE requirements and identify and develop suitable HSE risk controls to help us meet the needs and requirements of our customer. Activities include leading QHSE cultural and behavioural programme, coaching, mentoring and managing QHSE resources, assurance, compliance, monitoring, and analysing any flagged issues, developing and implementing audit programs to provide assurance against the defined HSE risk controls and developing strategies and actionable objectives to reduce waste, drive up efficiency, productivity and continually improve our business. Ensure legal, regulatory and certification compliance is maintained.
What you'll do: As a senior member in the HSSE function, support the Group HSSE Director in the development and Regional delivery of the HSE Strategy.
Develop and lead QHSE management systems, and implement new systems and processes
Inspire a positive and continually improving QHSE culture
Provide reporting at various levels to internal and external stakeholders
Lead, develop and direct the Regional QHSE team to be an excellent professional services team, capable of delivering the highest standards of QHSE management and leadership, and providing clear direction, advice and support as necessary
Promote an ethos of continuous improvement and striving for excellence within QHSE
Serve as a member of Global and/or Regional relevant leadership teams, committees, steering and working groups as required to ensure that QHSE makes an effective contribution to, and has a voice in, all matters that impact QHSE
Lead the response to complex QHSE issues, such as major incidents or pandemics
Provide strategic QHSE support to key stakeholders in project activities
You'll have the following skills and experience: Educated to degree level or equivalent
Minimum of 15 years experience within the QHSE Field, of which at least 5 years at a senior management level Demonstrate experience of developing, managing and improving organisation wide QHSE management and assurance systems.
Proven experience of operating in leadership and management teams
Significant QHSE experience of operating at scale in a complex, multi country, multi-cultural environment, with a mix of linear, nonlinear and interconnecting hierarchies and structures
Proven experience of advising and influencing at senior levels.
Have a proven track record of providing strategic direction to a QHSE function by effectively engaging with a diverse, multi country, multi-site organisation
Strong understanding of ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, ISO45001:2018
