Stitch is a payments infrastructure company on a mission to make it easier for enterprise businesses to connect to the financial system and build better experiences for their customers.
We are expanding the team to enable Stitch to broaden our product offering and extend our geographical footprint.
The role: The Head of Product works directly with the founders to define and manage the products which will enable Stitch and its clients to shape the future of financial services. The Head of Product connects with Stitch's users to understand their needs, develop product strategy, prioritise and roadmap key features, and work closely with Engineering to ship products. The Head of Product is also responsible for moving a product from ideation to scale including engineering, design, legal, data science, marketing and sales.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeeply understand customer needs by spending time with customers, sales, and support and observing patterns/trends across their feedback and the market.Assemble and grow the product team.Define the product strategy and roadmap.Work closely with our engineers to build new products and features.Own decisions directly impacting the growth of Stitch's business.Work cross-functionally with design, data science, legal, marketing and sales to build and grow our data products.Requirements10+ years of total work experience.5+ years in a product role, most recently as a product leader.A track record of success in financial technology or a related technology start-up.Has built technical products from scratch.Top-tier technical acumen.Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.AdvantageousStrong network and content knowledge in the local Fintech or Banking space.Experience in working in B2B SaaS, APIs or Payments companies.Strong understanding of developers and what makes a good developer experience.Experience working on B2B2C products, or experience with both developing products for developers and developing products for end-users.We recognise and value the importance of enabling remote work and maintaining a globally distributed workforce.
