WHO ARE WE: A global company specializing in the design and development of sustainable and immersive resorts and lodges in naturally beautiful locations, with expertise in architecture, interior design, procurement, and project management.Head of Procurement - Sandton, South AfricaAbout the Role and Responsibilities:Drive the full implementation of strategic plans to build and strengthen our business capacity within the South African market.Execute strategic partnerships with stakeholders.Lead the pivotal operations of driving cost-effective procurement.Oversee purchasing and supply chain management.Develop strategic procurement plans and manage supplier relationships.Ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant operations.Enforce procurement policies and manage the procurement team.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.8-10 years of experience in procurement, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.Key skills: strategic thinking, negotiation skills, analytical ability, leadership and team management, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and ethical judgment.The Head of Procurement will lead the procurement team to achieve cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and risk mitigation, and will work with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement processes support broader company initiatives.
