Head of Procurement - Sandton, South AfricaAbout the Role and Responsibilities: Drive the full implementation of strategic plans to build and strengthen our business capacity within the South African market.Execute strategic partnerships with stakeholders.Lead the pivotal operations of driving cost-effective procurement.Oversee purchasing and supply chain management.Develop strategic procurement plans and manage supplier relationships.Ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant operations.Enforce procurement policies and manage the procurement team.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.8-10 years of experience in procurement, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.Key skills: strategic thinking, negotiation skills, analytical ability, leadership and team management, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and ethical judgment.The Head of Procurement will lead the procurement team to achieve cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and risk mitigation, and will work with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement processes support broader company initiatives.
