Head of Procurement - Procurement/LogisticsVacanciesPosition: Head of Supply ChainIndustry: AutomotiveSalaries: Up to R1.8mil p/aArea: AlbertonResponsibilities:Ensure the management of inbound processes in the warehouse including Goods Receiving and Binning of stock.Manage outbound processes in the warehouse including picking, consolidation, weighing and dispatching of stock.Continuous benchmarking to implement and manage continuous improvement measures to facilitate efficiencies in the processes and systems in line with best practices.Ensure Warehouse Planning - Process optimisation, Productivity improvement & Packaging & MHE management.Ensure management of quality processes including perpetual counts, quantity and quality checks and RFC (Returns for Credit).Manage inbound transport suppliers as per agreed SLA and freight mode to ensure on time and efficient delivery.Lead and manage the team in accordance with the company values to ensure high engagement and motivation in the delivery of results.Must be proactive on Customer Communication management including providing reliable and consistent feedback to dealers and customers about parts availability.Ensure management of Inventory to maximise parts availability at optimal stock holding costs.Manage the outbound transport suppliers as per agreed SLA to facilitate optimum and on time delivery to dealers and customers.Ensure financial management including tracking the costs in line with budget and verifying invoices against tender rates.Ensuring optimisation of the costs including recycling and manufacturing of pallets.Managing of facility including repairs and maintenance based on the requirements.Qualifications & Experience Required:Matric certificate.Degree in logistics management, operations management or industrial engineering.4 years in project management.Must have 4 years of hardware requirements in the context of logistics operations.4 years in knowledge of the ERP systems.Must have 4 years' experience in warehouse operations, within the automotive industry.If you haven't heard from us within three weeks please consider your application unsuccessful.
