Purpose: Plan and manage sourcing strategies to ensure supply of Technology and related products, Professional Services (PS) and Facilities Management (FM) at an optimum cost and quality in line procurement strategy and business requirements. Management of data and analytics to enable Procurement team to leverage procurement sourcing and operational decision and performance. Reports to: Head of Finance: Statutory and Corporate Governance.
Duties will include, but not limited to Lead a team of Procurement professionals to ensure effective delivery of procurement operations in line with business requirements.
Experience in sourcing complex technical solutions and services across a broad range of categories, including but not limited to IT and associated infrastructure (e.g. hardware, software), development and integration and innovative based solution (e.g. cloud), PS and FM.
Develop and deliver strategic approach to sourcing suppliers to meet business and internal Stakeholder requirements.
Develop and deliver procurement process to ensure effective supply of product/service to the business.
Production and management of procurement data and analytics, including preparation of regular performance reports.
Manage the key internal Stakeholder relationship to identify and refine business requirements ensuring clear and effective product/service specification for procurement purposes.
Lead sourcing work and negotiations with prospective suppliers to fulfil business requirements to ensure contractual arrangements are commercially viable.
Build and maintain working relationships with key suppliers to optimise the contractual relationships ensure quality of service and seek opportunities for further contractual enhancement.
Monitor and manage established commercial arrangements with key or large suppliers to ensure contracts and services delivery are optimised.
Identify and manage contractual and commercial issues to minimise impact on supply of service and cost to the business.
Manage, monitor and develop the team to ensure resources meet current and future business requirements.
Manage Procurement Committee to ensure alignment with Procurement Policy.
Develop accurate IT spend forecasts that measure actual spend vs planned monthly.
Strong experience of delivering procurement solutions and managing key supplier relationships.
Excellent understanding of procurement techniques.
Bcom Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
7 - 10 years of experience in Procurement.
5 - 7 years of experience in a Leadership role.
Strong in data and analytics management, presentation and strategic planning.
Successful track record of delivering commercially viable contracts with key suppliers.
Comprehensive knowledge of contract Law and Tender and Procurement best practice.
