QUALIFICATIONS A tertiary 3-year Diploma/Degree (Commerce/Supply Chain/Business) or related procurement qualification.
MCIPS certification is an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE At least 8-10 years of proven working experience in supervising/managing others within procurement or supply chain management.
Excellent knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
Strong commercial acumen, exceptional eye for detail, including experience in leading negotiations.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Alignment Contribute towards the development of the company's strategic plans.
Compile and present departmental strategy for Exco review and input into broader organizational strategy.
Ensure that financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet short- and long-term business objectives and regulatory body requirements.
Identify departmental risks and implement departmental risk management strategy.
Operational Monitor all procurement activities.
Conduct market analysis and manage the total supplier base.
Report to the executive management team.
Manage procurement department internal and external reporting on KPIs.
Ensure sourcing decisions are made in accordance with approved strategies.
Ensure supplier bidding/selection is in accordance with the Procurement Policies and Procedures and enforce implementation.
DESIRED SKILLS Proven working experience in supervising/managing others within procurement or supply chain management.
Strategic Alignment Operations Excellent knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
