Our client, a fully integrated producer, packer, and marketer based in the Citrusdal Valley, Western Cape, is seeking a Head of People Practices to join their management team and contribute significantly to their continued success.Role Overview:The primary purpose of this role is to provide leadership, coordination, and support in driving people best practices. The position will foster a values- and culture-driven environment, positioning the business as a leader in the international fresh produce industry. The Head of People Practices will be part of the senior management team alongside the Heads of Business and Functional Units, as well as Group Entities.Minimum Requirements:At least 5 years of experience in an FMCG or agriculture organization in an HR management or group HR manager role, with experience leading a divisionPostgraduate degree in HR or a related fieldStrong leadership, management, facilitation, and execution skillsHigh levels of energy and driveStrong analytical, data, and reporting abilitiesA strong belief in the potential of people and communitiesA team player with interdependence, servant leadership qualities, and self-starter abilitiesDuties and Responsibilities:Facilitate, execute, and benchmark HR strategyLead an HR teamFacilitate culture and values engagementOversee recruitment and onboardingCoordinate organizational development and trainingEnsure legal compliance, policies, and proceduresOversee remuneration and incentive benefit practicesCoordinate health and safety, including incident managementAct as custodian of people data and reportingOn Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and career advancementA supportive and collaborative work environmentThe chance to contribute to a dynamic and sustainable farming enterprise
