Inland Transport:
Manage all transporters.
Coordinate daily fleet lists between the transporters and mines for efficient loading.
Manage each sales order and ensure the requisite number of trucks are loading daily to meet the vessel schedules.
Monthly rate negotiations.
Investigate more efficient routes, for example rail.
Port Operations (FOB):
Manage the online CBR systems for all customers (port space booking and allocation).
Prepare and send all loading instructions.
Manage the port creditor account and ensure payments are done on time to berth and load the vessels.
Monitor and ensure smooth vessel operations.
Manage all leftovers.
Freight Booking:
Book all bulk and container freight to meet contract LSDs.
Coordinate all charter parties between the freight broker and shippers.
Documentation:
Coordinate all LC documents/BOLs between the freight forwarder and customer.
Reporting:

Port tracker
Transport rate tracker
Supply chain tracker (budget vs actual)
Inland logistics
Port space
Freight bookings
Market Information (monthly and weekly reports)
Maputo Shippers
Durban Shippers
Richards Bay Shippers

Qualifications:
Relevant Operations Management qualification or similar.
Criteria:
10+ years in an Operations Management role, with a strong focus on the supply chain / mining industry.
