About the role
The Head of Operations will oversee and manage the overall operational strategy and execution across the entire Aparthotel portfolio. This role will involve leading an Operations team , ensuring that all operational functions are running smoothly and efficiently, and aligning operations with the company's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operations management, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence.
Your roles and responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement operational strategies that align with Totalstay's overall business goals.Oversee the planning and execution of operational initiatives to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
2. Leadership and Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Senior Operations Managers and other operational staff.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging professional growth and development.
3. Operational Oversight:
Ensure the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations across all properties.Monitor and evaluate operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
4. Quality Assurance:
Maintain high standards of quality and service across all Aparthotels.Conduct regular Aparthotel inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
5. Guest Experience:
Oversee guest relations to ensure a high level of satisfaction and address any escalated issues or complaints.Implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience.
6. Budget Management:
Develop and manage operational budgets, monitoring expenditures and implementing cost-saving measures.Ensure financial efficiency and alignment with company objectives.
7. Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with key vendors and service providers.Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure cohesive and aligned operations.
8. Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with all regulations, as well as company policies.Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks.
9. Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare detailed reports on operational performance, guest feedback, financial metrics, and other key indicators.Utilize data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and operational improvements.
10. Crisis Management:
Lead and coordinate responses to operational crises or emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption and effective resolution.
What we expect from you
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the hospitality industry.Proven leadership and team management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using operational and project management tools.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
