Head Of Logistics / Warehouse Manager

My client is seeking a Head of Logistics / Warehouse Manager to join their team This will be to improve existing warehouse and distribution capabilities Implement processes and a warehouse management system Overall responsibility of the distribution centers in Gauteng and the Western Cape Manage inbound, storage, outbound and transport processes Manage warehouse inventory, stock counts, stock rotation and accessibility Maintain system for control of goods transferred Ensure route optimization and monitor and track deliveries Manage distribution costs Identify backlogs and resolve them Matric Supply Chain and Logistics Degree or Diploma 10 years warehouse experience including 5 years of management experience within retail Strong Excel competency WMS experience Own transport
