To plan, organise and execute the Group's operational IT mandate. The incumbent is accountable for the establishment, implementation and management of best practice standards for IT operation execution. This is done by evaluating and interpreting business needs and its impact on IT systems and infrastructure, manage the Group's IT requirements, its business system requirements and work with outsourced and third-party suppliers and contractors.Minimum Requirements:National Diploma or BTech in Information Systems.MCSE certification as an added advantage5 Years experience in senior managementexperience in the design, implementation and management of outsourced solutions and support services.Minimum work experience:Set goals and standards for the IT department to support business plans.Plan and utilise resources (skills, equipment, infrastructure, and finances) for maximum effectiveness and productivityOversee all technology requirements for the Group, including Network, Server, Storage, andCloud/Hosting/WAN requirementsAlign operational tasks with business processes, for example, SAP ISH, FI and MMEnsure the implementation of system flows through internal stakeholders.Initiate new systems/applications taking into account the requirements of the businessAnalyse, design and document specifications together with the service providersEstablish processes and protocols for the acquisition of new or replaced assetsEnsure warranties of assets are maintainedEnsure the security of the Group's data, its network/network access and back-up systemsIdentify and manage problems, escalated issues and operational risksPromote alignment by understanding and communicating departmental and customer needs and requirements throughout the organisationEmbed people-focused management strategies and implement policies that maximise employee potentialAnalyse information and reports to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision-making purposesEnsure complete, timeous and accurate reporting with appropriate levels of escalation to enable effective decision makingClosing date for applications: 26 September 2024Submit your CV and covering letter to ****** before the closing date.
