We're looking for a big fish, someone with extensive leadership experience and the ability to craft effective IT strategies for a multinational company and its respective assets. You have an embedded understanding of ERP systems, cyber security, group IT systems, and user support mechanisms.
This role is akin to working for a national security team. We are looking for the best of the best to safeguard our client's mission of supporting the development of the African power sector.

Education Requirements
Postgraduate degree in IT/OT related field
Experience Requirements
10+ years of experience in a leadership position at a multinational IT organisationProven track record of successfully managing enterprise ERP systems, associated support infrastructure, cybersecurity solutions, and standards and risksEmbedded understanding and knowledge of IT/OT networks and protocols
Responsibilities
Implement and guide IT strategy at corporate and operational levelsMaintain IT governance model, ensuring alignment with corporate governanceDevelop and manage IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plansDrive improvements to existing Group IT infrastructure and systemsMonitor and assess technology trends for potential impacts and opportunitiesDevelop a virtual IT organization to enhance cooperation and productivityProvide IT expertise for due diligence in M&A transactionsLead post-acquisition IT and OT integration effortsDevelop and gain approval for IT programs and portfoliosOversee program and project delivery, including Group ERP system rolloutManage supplier relationships to ensure value and serviceOptimise existing commercial agreements and explore new supplier opportunitiesMaintain and improve central IT purchasing arrangements to reduce costsEnsure fit-for-purpose cyber defences are in place and effectiveManage operational IT support staff and provide feedback to service partnersReview and enhance IT policies and procedures regularlySupport and provide strategic input to local IT managers and teamsOffer strategic input into infrastructure design and major IT procurement decisions
