Our client is seeking a strategic and dynamic Head of Human Resources to lead and oversee all HR functions within their organization.
This role is critical in shaping a culture of excellence, driving talent acquisition, and aligning HR strategies with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the companys vision and objectives.Provide guidance to senior management on workforce planning and talent development.Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.Implement performance management systems to enhance employee productivity.Employee Relations: Foster a positive workplace culture through effective communication and engagement initiatives.Address and resolve employee grievances and conflicts.Compliance and Policies: Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures.Learning and Development: Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills.Support leadership development initiatives across the organization.HR Operations: Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.Monitor HR metrics and generate reports for decision-making.Skills:Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.Exceptional organizational and time-management capabilities.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and compliance requirements.Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development.HR certification such as SHRM-CP, CIPD, or equivalent is an advantage.Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
