Head Of Finance

Main Areas of Responsibility: Lead the finance team, managing financial operations, accounting, and internal controls. Develop and refine financial models, ensuring that capital allocation yields favorable returns. Prepare business cases and investment proposals for new ventures. Design pricing strategies to enhance profitability. Conduct thorough financial due diligence. Formulate and align financial strategies with organizational goals. Manage all financial reporting, from routine accounts to year-end financial statements. Maintain compliance with statutory regulations. Collaborate with senior management on budgeting and financial planning. Offer strategic guidance to executive leaders and department heads. Oversee cash flow management and forecasting. Build relationships with internal and external partners. Analyze and mitigate various financial risks, including credit and operational risks. Drive continuous improvement in accounting practices and reporting mechanisms. Qualifications and Experience: CA(SA) designation with a minimum of 3 years in financial management. Comprehensive understanding of financial legislation and regulations. Prior experience in finance oversight, budgeting, and corporate finance. Advanced financial modeling skills, particularly with DCF models. Proficiency in IFRS standards, with emphasis on IFRS 9 and IFRS 16.
