Job Description:Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Finance and Administration is responsible for driving financial performance and supporting business growth. This role requires a forward-thinking individual who combines a deep understanding of financial management with strong business acumen to provide actionable insights and optimize resource allocation. The role is not only to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance but also proactively contribute to the strategic decision-making process, using financial data to drive efficiency, profitability, and long-term success. This role is key to the flow of financial information to the Managing Director, Board of Directors and Shareholders.
Qualifications:Chartered Accountant (CA (SA)).Postgraduate Qualification advantageous.Registration with relevant professional body recommended.Advanced knowledge of IFRS and GAAP.7+ Years' of experience in financial management (post articles) including at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.Experience within a manufacturing environment is essential.Experience with hedge accounting recommended.Proven strategic leadership – experience in leading a finance team, overseeing budgeting, forecasting and reporting.Corporate governance and risk management – solid understanding and practical experience in ensuring compliance with legal regulations, risk management and corporate governance frameworks.Stakeholder engagement – experience engaging with senior stakeholders such as the Board of Directors, auditors and external partners.How to Apply:Email your comprehensive CV ******.If you are already registered, please forward your CV and the relevant reference number to the consultant with whom you are currently registered in order to avoid duplicity on our system.We reserve the right to only conduct interviews with candidates of choice.Applicants who have not received feedback within 30 days from the closing date must please accept their application as unsuccessful.
