Head of Data Management (Permanent) - Gauteng POSITION: Permanent COMMENCEMENT: ASAP
PURPOSE OF POSITION: To ensure the seamless and secure flow of information within and outside the organisation, guaranteeing timely access and delivery of data.
To develop and implement data management, sales and marketing strategy and sustain operational excellence.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent (post graduate qualification). Minimum 10 years' experience at a senior Executive level. Experience in organisational effectiveness and operations management. Knowledge of the legislative and regulatory. Knowledge of Business and Management principles and practices. Knowledge of Financial and Accounting principles and practices. Knowledge of Human Resource principles and practices Knowledge of Project Management principles and practices. Knowledge of strategic planning and budgeting. Excellent IT skills. Willing to do frequent domestic travel to various locations. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: To oversee operations and manage Company's compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Manage the organisations resources within budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations. Develop policies supporting organisation and staff requirements. Recruit competent and qualified employees to assist in the implementation and attainment of the overall organisational objective. Monitor the performance of the organisation and develop strategies facilitating continual improvement. Communicate strategic objectives to employees of the organisation. Lead the operational team in alignment with company's core values and policies. Data Management: Develop and implement data management policies and procedures. Manage and maintain the companies' data assets. Ensure that data is accurate, complete and secure. Develop and maintain data quality standards and data governance policies and procures. Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that their data needs are met. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors. Manage the data management team. Sales and Marketing: Designing and implementing strategic plans to reach sales and marketing targets. Market and advertise products and services. Ensure up to date and accurate information on the CRM system. Oversee implementation of divisional marketing and communication plans and budgets. Manage sales and marketing teams to ensure sustainable revenue generation for the division. Focus on prospecting within targeted segments. Create new contracts and build relationships with current and prospective clients. Conduct annual performance reviews. Finance: Review financial statements and data. Review operational budgets and assist with financial planning. Competencies: Strategic leadership and people management skills. People management, team building and strong motivational skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Through understanding of relevant business processes. Negotiation skills. Planning and organising skills. Conflict management capability.
