Head of Compliance - Cape Town, South Africa - Aquarius Specialist RecruitmentWe seek a compliance expert for a dynamic Asset Management company, offering a diverse range of investment products with excellent performance.Responsibilities include:Drafting new policies under amended regulations.Implementing and monitoring company policies.Reviewing regulatory developments and presenting them to the legal team and/or board of directors.Developing processes to monitor policy adherence.Drafting and implementing a marketing policy addressing product requirements in different jurisdictions.Preparing regulatory reports and serving as the main contact point for outsourced compliance officers.Researching marketing restrictions and preparation of process documents.Compliance record-keeping and registers.Oversight of junior compliance analysts.Sharing knowledge with colleagues and collaborating with internal teams.Requirements:5-10 years of experience in Asset Management, drafting policies and interpreting laws.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Problem-solving and ability to work independently and collaboratively.Proactive and detail-oriented, with a commitment to meeting stakeholder needs.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Please send your CV and supporting documentation to ******
