Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to take on the role of Head of Commercial Capability Sales for the Southern Africa region.Responsibilities:Develop and implement a robust business development and sales strategy for the region.Lead and manage the integration of sales and operations planning, ensuring alignment with commercial strategies.Design innovative, cross-capability solutions tailored to market demands.Drive customer attraction, retention, and expansion strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.Analyze and report business performance metrics, providing actionable insights.Collaborate with regional and global teams to align strategies and implement end-to-end solutions.Oversee tender and contract management processes, ensuring compliance and profitability.Foster key client relationships and identify growth opportunities in both new and existing markets.Stay ahead of industry trends, utilizing insights to refine strategies and deliver innovative client solutions.Manage and mentor sales teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence.Key Skills:Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain, and transport industries.Proven track record in selling integrated end-to-end solutions.Exceptional strategic planning and implementation capabilities.Advanced client relationship management and negotiation skills.Proficient in analyzing market trends and customer data.Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.Expertise in contract management and handling RFPs.Strong business acumen with a focus on revenue growth and profitability.High proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM tools.Flexibility to travel extensively across the region.Minimum 8-10 years of experience in business development and sales within logistics or supply chain sectors.Proven success in managing large-scale commercial projects and leading diverse teams.Experience in the Southern Africa region with a strong network in the industry.Qualifications:Relevant post-graduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
