Select your country to see jobs specific to your location.The Head of Cloud function is responsible for the growth of Cloud, ensuring cloud vendor partnership status is managed and growing, working with the distributors to unlock value, building out cloud-based solutions for the sales team to unlock opportunities, find and grow new customer logos and new business.The function will require an ongoing understanding of technologies, services, and marketplace functionality provided by hyperscalers, and then seeing how we can benefit from these technologies by creating complementary services or utilizing them in an optimal way.Always ask, "How can we continuously optimize our cloud offerings, services, and strategies to deliver maximum value to our customers while ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency?"Must Haves:Knowledge of how the AWS ecosystem works.Strong knowledge of how the AWS programs work such as MCP, Marketplace, CPPO, Well Architected, Startup, MAP, and more.Experience in selling AWS and cloud solutions.Experience in running a Business Unit, P&L, Budgets.Creating cloud business experience.Client Base to build this BU.Running a cloud business unit (same as above but specifically on cloud).AWS Business certifications.Presales experience in selling AWS to clients.Will consider AZURE candidates if prepared to PIVOT to AWS.Responsibilities:Responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with cloud service providers, technology vendors, and other relevant stakeholders.Identifying potential partners, negotiating agreements, and fostering mutually beneficial relationships to enhance the cloud offerings, access to resources, and market competitiveness.Cloud Business Plans:Developing and implementing comprehensive business plans that outline the strategic objectives, key initiatives, and performance targets for the cloud division.Conducting market analysis, identifying growth opportunities, defining go-to-market strategies, and aligning business plans with overall corporate objectives to drive revenue growth and profitability in the cloud business.Cloud Partner Programs:Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing partner programs aimed at enabling and incentivizing collaboration with external partners, including cloud service providers, resellers, consultants, and system integrators.Defining program requirements, establishing partner tiers, developing training and enablement resources, and monitoring partner performance to ensure alignment with business goals and maximize the effectiveness of partner engagements.Marketing:Oversees all aspects of marketing related to the cloud services. This includes developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote cloud offerings, enhance brand visibility, and generate leads.Responsible for creating thought leadership content, such as whitepapers, case studies, and blog posts, to establish as an industry authority and educate customers on cloud-related topics.Managing the planning and execution of public events, such as webinars, conferences, and workshops, to engage with customers, partners, and the broader community and showcase the cloud capabilities.Cloud Solutions:Leads the development and innovation of cloud-based solutions to address customer needs and market demands. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and sales, to conceptualize, design, and deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions.Oversees the entire solution lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.Conducts market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for new cloud solutions and enhancements to existing offerings, driving continuous improvement and differentiation in the marketplace.Cloud Sales:Drive enablement and collaboration between Sales and Technical teams to achieve set sales targets. This includes presenting and selling cloud solutions to prospective clients, as well as working closely with the Sales team to unlock opportunities and run cloud opportunities.Additionally, align with and enable sales teams to generate revenue with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.Develop and deliver presentations, proposals, and other collateral needed to achieve cloud goals. This involves creating offerings with partners such as Red Hat, VMware, Elastic, and Confluent to enhance portfolio and provide comprehensive cloud solutions.Own and manage cloud opportunities within driving them to closure and ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives set by the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).Desired Skills:LeadershipBusiness DevelopmentAWSCloudAbout The Employer:Best Culture to work forTop Performers PlaygroundLeadership with integrity and flexibility
