Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a leading engineering, procurement, and construction company specializing in energy, and together we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Development to join our client's team.
The Head of Business Development leads the company's efforts to grow. They enhance the current offerings and find new business opportunities. They develop strategies that align with company goals and collaborate with regional partners to spot market opportunities. They also build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and introduce new products. Their goal is to thrive in a changing business landscape.
Responsibilities:Create strategies to boost demand and introduce new products/services for revenue growthNegotiate contracts with clientsUse financial models to evaluate new opportunitiesAnalyze costs and benefits of new venturesImplement new technologies to improve business operationsCollaborate with teams to adapt current offerings to new opportunitiesResearch product impacts and future production needsDevelop strategies aligned with organizational goalsPrepare reports on revenue potential and business risksEstablish frameworks for better data analysis and market insightsIdentify ways to streamline business processesLead team discussions to finalize business decisionsManage new projects based on feedback and market conditionsPlan market entries and strategies for new venturesBuild relationships with industry contacts for partnershipsManage department budgets for funding needsMaintain client relationships and satisfactionSet targets in line with business growth plansRequirements:Holds a bachelor's degree in engineering or financeDemonstrated ability in sales and business developmentExperience in project management is advantageousStrong multitasking abilities, self-motivated, and energetic team player with a flexible approach to workSkilled in practical organization, resource planning, and program schedulingProficient in providing both summarized and detailed reports on ongoing activitiesIT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft ProjectExperienced in construction contractsMaintains a smart and professional appearanceExcellent command of written and spoken EnglishCustomer-focused with strong communication and motivational skills across all levelsInitiates tasks independently and is focused on achieving goalsMature in outlook, dependable, and highly organizedSolution-oriented mindsetCapable of working effectively in high-pressure environments with minimal supervisionBenefits:Salary: R85,000 p/m
