Minimum Qualifications:Master of science, engineering, or business. An MBA is a plus.Previous management of a business unit or a TotalEnergies affiliate, ideally within TotalEnergies Solar DG. Experience in building a P&L and structuring pricing proposals.Strong leadership skills. Able to recruit, set up, manage, direct, and motivate a team of diverse skilled resources.Proven ability to operate effectively with autonomy.Experience in solar and in signing PPA agreements, management of tendering processes, construction site management, and asset O&M.Knowledge of the local market and strong interpersonal skills to engage local stakeholders.Precision and zero compromise/tolerance approach to HSE. Technical excellence must be proven.Commercial skills and ability to negotiate contracts with all levels of counterparty business.Experience in different cultural environments.10-15 years of experience positioning sophisticated solutions and cost-benefit analyses.Working languages: English; French is a nice to have.HSE Responsibilities:Strict adherence and compliance towards Group QHSSE policy (including MAESTRO) with high Quality of QHSSE performance.Participate in the training program to acquire QHSSE knowledge and impart this training to colleagues.Reporting of near misses, incidents, hazards & injuries to line Manager within the required time frame.Participate in the investigation and analysis of incidents as required.Full authority to stop any operation for safety reasons.Main Activities:Identify projects by implementing indirect sales and marketing processes and direct via the group's B2B portfolio in South Africa.Responsible for the investment committee dossiers.Identification of commercial & industrial prospects likely to enter into a PPA.Implement the economic model of TotalEnergies Solar Distributed Generation, build, finance and operate the assets.Work effectively within the TotalEnergies network and with regulatory bodies, corporate clients, and financing institutions.Reporting opportunities and follow up to the head of business development using our CRM tool.Coordinate with other affiliate teams on our multi-energy offering and strategy.Realization of commercial proposals creating value for our clients.Management of key accounts and local partners.Ensure the profitability of projects presented to investment committees and in their execution.Ensure compliance with TSDG HSE standards in South Africa.Ensure knowledge of the legal and operational context necessary to operate in South Africa.Contribute to preparing the N+1 budget and participate in the PLT in its area.Ensure weekly reporting of activities and prepare investment dossiers.Hire the right people and manage their retention in the organization.Manage regulatory processes, financing, commercial activity, and associated business partners.Report trends and tendencies to the head office to adapt the strategy.Responsible for building and maintaining tools to industrialize our offer & process.Follow-up and monitoring of business evolutions impacting the development of DG business.Competitive Environment: The business operates in a very competitive environment with both local and international competitors.Regulatory Environment: Each region has different regulatory frameworks, and the business must regularly adapt its model.HSE Environment: Ensure the highest standards of HSE are implemented to meet Group standards.
