We are seeking an experienced Technical Marketing Actuarial Analyst with at least 7 years of experience in the healthcare industry to join our team in the development and design of products and strategies for one of the largest medical schemes in South Africa and head our Innovation team. The successful incumbent will have the opportunity to build and lead a dynamic team of analysts and researchers and be part of evolving our client's market offering to be the ultimate healthcare solution for South Africans. The Head: Business Innovation also oversees the Marketing and Communication function and the digital and data architecture strategy.
The core responsibilities and functions will include the following:
Innovate and provide technical input on healthcare and ancillary products and services strategies, their design, development, and implementation.Rendering actuarial support services.Operational reporting and data analytics to guide data-driven decision-making.Apply in-depth understanding of the healthcare landscape and interpretation of business intelligence to ensure our client's sustained competitiveness.Inform sales and retention strategies.Develop stakeholder engagement and experience models.Manage the technical marketing team.Initiate and oversee research and provide insight and interpretation of independent research.Product packaging and presentation to decision-makers and stakeholders.Manage and ensure that Data Architecture and Digital strategy, Marketing and Communication strategies and functions support our client's positioning and value proposition.Minimum Requirements:
BSc Actuarial Science, Statistics or Mathematics.Minimum of 10 years' experience in the healthcare industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
