Head of Branch – Solar Energy, EPC, South Africa As a growing high-tech startup, we're expanding our business into the region, establishing a branch and seeking a multi-faceted solar marketer – Head of Branch to lead all operations and hit the ground running.
As a Head of Branch, you will be responsible for the overall achievement of planned revenue and profitability indicators in accordance with the business plan for the region.
NEOSUN Energy is an international Solar EPC company that provides Commercial Solar PV & Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) with capacity from 200kW to 10MW for Commercial and Industrial projects worldwide.
Area of Responsibility: Participate in the elaboration of the company's roadmap for the region with the CEO.
Set up the company's branch in the region in collaboration with Headquarters.
Establish and monitor region-related KPI's and goals to ensure continued business performance.
Monitor the timeliness of receiving payments from clients.
Calculate the estimation of solar project costs.
Report on sales, budgeting, and staffing improvements.
Formulate and drive sales strategy in the B2B targeting commercial and industrial clients in assigned markets.
Manage and coach a sales team, setting KPI's, providing guidance, and overseeing performance.
Manage the prospects alongside the sales team, assist in the negotiation, and secure the deals.
Prepare comprehensive sales bullet points to cover all grounds.
Act as part of the global sales team participating in cross-country sales across Africa regions.
Utilize and maintain the CRM system to track sales funnel and client interactions.
Own the client's journey from end to end towards the NEOSUN brand.
Stakeholders Management: Act as a subject matter expert on the company's products and solutions for external and internal stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, investors, and partners.
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
Ensure the company is in compliance with all local regulations including licenses, tax, labor, and audit.
Networking: Have a personal brand as a renewable energy ambassador – you need to open doors.
Keep an ear on trends for current and/or future growth opportunities across the market.
Participate in thematic (solar and/or clients business) exhibitions, conferences, and forums.
Keep up with social media and digital social networking.
Requirements: Experience in active sales of renewable energy solutions for B2B market 3+ years with a strong background in sales of technical solutions.
Specific knowledge of solar and other renewable energy technologies is required.
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in an international environment.
Professional networking and stakeholder partnerships in the renewable energy business environment.
Project management experience covering the whole sales cycle.
Ability to maintain the highest level of sales negotiation, ethics, and integrity.
Technical education.
Fluent or native English is required (C1+).
Experience of working or studying abroad within international settings will be a plus.
Flexibility, ability to adapt to changing goals and set priorities.
High level of independence, initiative, and result orientation.
Willingness for business trips.
