Key performance areas: Lead and manage the Non-Motorised Transport / Active Mobility Section including its staff and finances Responsible for all deliverables and outputs of the section Manage, plan, lead, organise, and prepare the development, review and update of policies, strategies, plans, norms and standards, in accordance with the corporate policy process Prepare, and deliver concept and / or preliminary designs and reports for NMT / Active Mobility projects in accordance with best practice and all relevant standard guidelines Lead and initiate processes required for the appointment of Professional Service Providers Coordination of and participation in internal and external stakeholder engagements and communication Carry out all required administrative tasks to ensure the requirements and / or objectives of the City and the department are met Manage, administer and review contracts and projects to ensure that governance and management of contracts/ projects is in compliance with the Contract Management Framework (CMF) of the City.
