Purpose of the Job: To provide strategic leadership, driving the development and implementation of innovative learning solutions, and managing key educational technology systems.
This role encompasses overseeing learning management systems, training management software, student management system, and a jobs portal.
Additional the purpose is to secure grant funding while leading stakeholder engagement within the training sphere.
The Head will also manage resources, including HR and financial, mobilize resources, and form strategic local and international partnerships, It involves fostering a learning culture across company, and its stakeholders, integrating experiential learning methodologies into all training and development initiatives aligned with the Academy's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for Technology in Curriculum Design and Development, Strategy Development, Stakeholder Relationship Management, Learning Delivery, and Resource Management.
Minimum Qualifications: NQF 7 in Data-metrics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A postgraduate qualification in Education Leadership, Management, or Administration is an added advantage.
Minimum Experience: At least 7 years of strategic and operational leadership experience, including 5 years in a senior executive role within a large corporate environment, ideally in a complex, matrix-structured organization with diverse business units.
Strong knowledge and experience in Human Resource or Capacity Development, with a solid understanding of the South African Education, Training, and Development landscape.
Experience in both further and higher education, with exposure to local and international contexts.
Proven experience managing integration projects involving enterprise systems or similar platforms.
Understanding and appreciation of private sector education, including professional training and development, B-BBEE initiatives, and transformation strategies.
In-depth knowledge of the funding landscape and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

SAP Integration and Grant Funding Proficiency.

Legal and Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with laws, government regulations, and industry standards.
