The Group Office provides strategic direction and support to the five clusters, assisting them in realising their strategies and meeting their business objectives. What will you do? This role will be accountable for the human capital (HC) digital transformation strategy within Sanlam Group, overseeing aspects of the HC technology and digital transformation journey, from opportunity planning and budgeting to people management, reporting, vendor management, and execution. The role will lead Sanlam Group's HC technology which includes SAP SuccessFactors and intelligence transformation implementation efforts to optimise Sanlam Group's HC capabilities and enhance the employee experience lifecycle in relation to technology. The role is considered to be a key pillar within Sanlam Group's HC landscape given the need for technology and intelligence to accelerate Sanlam Group's HC ability and presence in the market. What will make you successful in this role? Accountable for optimal technology selection, maintenance, adoption and utilisation to enable seamless integration and efficiency in Sanlam Group's HC processes with minimal errors. Own and drive technology implementations and augmentations that maximise usability, adoption, the workforce digital journey, and optimises the user experiences in a landscape of constant complexity. Lead continuous improvement processes based on the understanding of existing and emerging technology trends to ensure that the function's operations are future-focused and competitive. Deliver value-add HC data and technology solutions with speed, maximum impact, and minimal delay. Responsible for swift query resolution and can minimise downtime during any potential technology crash through efficient resolution tactics, within a limited timeframe. Ensure 90% uptime of HC technology solutions at all times, in order to maintain reliable client service streams in terms of HC technology and intelligence solutions. Implement Sanlam Group's HC data and analytics reporting practices through the use of technology solutions, which are aligned to desired Sanlam Group's HC metrics. Detail Deliverables Digital Transformation Strategy Implementation Lead the execution of Sanam Group's HC digital strategy for the hire to retire employee life cycle to maximise efficiency, value, and cost optimisation for technology related HC processes for Sanlam Group. Technology Stack Management and Pro-active Enhancement Oversee and manage the HC technology practice within Sanlam Group in terms of identifying, maintaining, augmenting current technology solutions and best practices to maximise efficiency and quality of HC data and intelligence. Implement comprehensive intelligence practices to gain a holistic understanding of past data, as well as enable accurate predictive analytics for workforce intelligence. Reporting, Analytics and Presentations Develop reports and present required business cases, opportunities, the function's journey, and new concepts at relevant Steering Committees (i.e. monthly, bi-weekly and ad-hoc) and at HC leadership sessions to inform decision making related to this function. Stakeholder Engagement Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to collaborate on metrics, goals and business reviews for effective HC technology and intelligence sustainability and effectiveness. Governance Ensure compliance from a HC technology and intelligence viewpoint by overseeing that all HC technology and intelligence activities within Sanlam Group, including within IT change management activities, are conducted in a compliant and ethical manner, by articulating and implementing compliance practices and controls that ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, standards and policies. Technology Vendor Engagement Manage service level agreements with vendors timeously to ensure cost-effective service delivery, minimise errors and downtime. Monitor vendor service efficiency and establish continuous improvement practices for vendor delivery to maximise vendor service efficiency and quality. Team Leadership Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the team to drive a high-performance team culture. Emphasise and implement strong team culture, well-being, ethics, and adaptability practices to ensure a supportive, inclusive and efficient team environment.
