THE ROLE:
As a restaurant Head Host, you will meet, greet and seat guests. You will answer the telephone and check our booking system Seven Rooms delivering excellent customer service and handling all guest's complaints, requests and enquiries on food, beverage and service. Supervise and coordinate the activities of 2 or more hosts, ensuring they provide a warm and efficient welcome to guests. Train new hosts on reservation systems, customer service protocols, and restaurant procedures. Provide ongoing support and development for existing hosts. Manage host team schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times and special events. Greet guests promptly and courteously, managing the flow of guests from the entrance to their tables. Handle walk-in guests and manage waiting lists, providing accurate wait times and ensuring guests are comfortable while they wait. Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary.
YOU ARE:
An experienced Head Host.
A well-presented and natural people-person.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, capable of managing reservations and guest interactions efficiently.
Committed to delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for every guest.
Proficient in using reservation systems (e.g., SevenRooms) and comfortable with computer operations.
Strong communication skills, able to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.

LINA STORES SHOREDITCH - RESTAURANT AND BAR
Located on Shoreditch High Street, our newest home will occupy a historical grade II listed building, originally built in 1868 as a bank. Lina Stores Shoreditch will feature an all-day restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, while the former vault in the basement will become home to Bar Lina, our classic Italian aperitivo bar.
