Head, Governance Research, Reporting and Advisory ServicesOnly for registered membersJohannesburgZAR 500000 - 600000Head, Governance Research, Reporting and Advisory ServicesJob OverviewBusiness Segment: Group FunctionsLocation: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30To provide dedicated services to the Standard Bank Group Secretary to provide corporate governance advisory, research and reporting services to Group Governance; support the Group Secretary with the planning, preparation and execution of the Annual General Meeting (AGM); coordinate the annual SBG and SBSA board effectiveness review; lead and prepare relevant deliverables and submissions for Directors' Affairs Committee and Board review; and provide governance, advisory and secretarial services to an allocated portfolio of committees and subsidiaries.To liaise with the relevant chairmen of board and management committees, executive and senior management team members of business units and corporate functions, as well as external service providers in fulfilling this role.To ensure compliance with the applicable statutory, regulatory and corporate governance requirements for board and management committees.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsRequired: First Degree in either Business Commerce, Generic Management or Risk ManagementPreferred: Post graduate degree in Business Commerce or Generic ManagementExperience RequiredAt least 10 years working experience in a governance role
