ELIGIBILITY:Suitably qualified candidates.CLOSING DATE:22.11.2024REFERENCE NUMBER:CS 200/24 extSALARY:R1227099.00 - R1346946.00DEPARTMENT:Fleet ManagementDIRECTORATE:CORPORATE SERVICES Head - Corporate Fleet and PlantRequirements:Relevant BTech or degree or academic Diploma equating to 360 credits combined with proven competence and experience.Up to eight (8) years' relevant experience.Valid Code B or EB driver's licence.Key Performance Areas:Manage and determine optimal life cycle for all fleet assets (vehicle and plant).Provide fleet to the City and ensure a roadworthy safe and fit for purpose fleet, in compliance with RTA, RTQS, OHSA, IDP, GAMAP and other corporate legislative guidelines.Manage the insurance fleet.Ensure that fleet is maintained, operated and repaired efficiently and effectively.Manage and control fleet budgets.Manage fleet rental recoveries.Perform and execute proactive scheduling and maintenance to ensure maximum availability of the fleet.Manage customer satisfaction and service delivery.Plan, manage and implement the development of projects.Manage and administer contracts within the business area.
