Head Chef - New Bistro

We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen of our clients brand new French bistro-style restaurant. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, expertise, and a love for French cuisine to our team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a French bistro-style menu with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure high standards of food quality and presentation.
Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient team.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
Collaborate with the restaurant management team to create a memorable dining experience.
Innovate and introduce new dishes and specials regularly.
Handle guest feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Monitor and manage kitchen budgets and financial performance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef wanting to step up to the next level
Strong knowledge of French cuisine and culinary techniques.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in kitchen management software and MS Office.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
