Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an exceptional Head Chef to lead the culinary team at a prestigious establishment. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and experienced culinary leader to shape an outstanding dining experience and drive culinary excellence.

Position Overview: The Head Chef is the visionary leader of the kitchen, responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, menu development, staff management, and maintaining top culinary standards. This role is crucial in crafting an unforgettable dining experience and ensuring the overall success of the establishment.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management: Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met. Train kitchen staff and guide the sous chef in developing junior team members. Culinary Excellence: Oversee daily kitchen operations, manage prep work, and run the pass when necessary. Develop and innovate the menu to enhance the dining experience. Customer Interaction: Address customer complaints and compliments with professionalism and a calm demeanor. Operational Efficiency: Ensure timely preparation and dispatch of orders. Manage food and menu costs, waste management, and maintain accurate administrative records. Team Support: Support both kitchen and front-of-house teams, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional service. Requirements: Qualifications: Culinary degree or equivalent certifications. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a 4-star or 5-star hotel or restaurant. Previous roles should include Executive Sous Chef or Head Chef positions. Skills: Advanced knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen management. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Creativity in menu development and culinary innovation. Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, ability to handle high-pressure situations, and comprehensive understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
