Head Chef PositionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team in George, Western Cape. As the head of the kitchen, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and exceptional service.Key Responsibilities:Kitchen Management: Oversee kitchen operations to ensure dishes are prepared to the highest standards.Team Leadership: Support and guide kitchen staff to foster a positive and efficient work environment.Menu Preparation: Assist in planning and executing menu items, maintaining consistency and quality.Quality Control: Monitor food safety and hygiene practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.Communication: Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and address any issues that arise.Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, ordering, and stock rotation.Qualifications:Minimum two years experience in running a kitchen or recent completion of a culinary qualification.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans with effective communication skills.Valid driver's license and own transport for commuting to work.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.Estimated Salary: R150,000 - R200,000 per annum.
