Head Chef

The Head Chef would be responsible for and lead a small team of cooks and kitchen staff.Responsibilities include:Cooks for our guests (20 guests at Full Camp) at 5-star level and our staff members according to the meal plan.Presents and introduces new meal ideas.Responsible for food & beverage management - purchasing, hygiene, stock management.Optimal use of food stocks (compliance with budget targets).Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen.At least 5 years of experience as Head Chef in a comparable position at a 5-star level.Familiar with the requirements of HACCP standards.Attention to detail and puts the wishes of the guests first and is ready to go the extra mile.Honest personality with integrity who likes to work in a team - No hierarchical thinking.Willingness to help out in other areas of the Lodge in exceptional situations.Experience required: Between 5 - 7 years.
