Requirements:
Formal culinary qualification.
2-3 years of experience as a Head Chef in a 5-star establishment.
Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
In-depth knowledge of HACCP standards.
Computer literacy.
A guest-centric approach with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
A genuine passion for culinary excellence.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
Strong motivational abilities to ensure consistent 5-star service delivery.
Creative thinking and collaborative teamwork capabilities.
Flexibility in work approach.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a small team of chefs and kitchen staff.
Prepare and serve high-quality meals for both guests and staff in accordance with meal plans.
Innovate and introduce new culinary ideas and menu options.
Oversee food and beverage management, including purchasing, hygiene, and stock control.
Ensure optimal utilization of food resources while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
Maintain impeccable kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Package on offer:
R20 000 per month depending on experience
Live in (En-suite bedroom)
