A stunning estate in Franschhoek is seeking a Head Chef with the passion and expertise to lead the kitchen team and deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including staff coordination and food preparation.
Develop creative and seasonal menus that align with the bistro's brand.
Ensure smooth service, particularly during peak times and events.
Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
Manage stock levels, orders, and supplier relationships.
Train, mentor, and motivate the kitchen team.
Requirements:
Own transport.
Recent experience as a Head Chef in a similar environment (4/5*).
SA ID.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent organisational abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and lead a team effectively.
Willingness to work shifts, including evenings on Thursday and Friday.
