JD Specialized Recruitment is assisting an intimate and luxury Boutique Hotel to recruit a passionate and experienced Head Chef.
?The ideal candidate will have a deep connection to sustainable living and a love for creating unique, seasonal dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Requirements

Experience & Qualifications: 2-3 years as a senior chef in a high-end luxury boutique lodge or hotel setting, with a degree or diploma in Culinary Arts from a respected institution.
Passion for Farm-to-Table: A strong belief in sustainable living and the farm-to-table philosophy. You will enjoy designing creative, seasonal menus inspired by what's grown on our farm and sourced locally.
Love for Foraging: Enthusiastic about foraging on the farm and crafting dishes from freshly picked produce.
Leadership & Calm Presence: A calm and composed chef with exceptional interpersonal skills, leading by example to create a peaceful and collaborative kitchen environment. Mentoring and training junior staff will be a key part of your role.
Beautiful, Relaxed Dining: Ability to craft relaxed, family-style dishes that are beautifully presented, showcasing the finest local ingredients.
Guest Engagement: A great communicator who enjoys interacting with guests, sharing knowledge about the farm, local agriculture, and the importance of sourcing local produce.
