JD Specialized Recruitment is assisting a 5* Luxury Lodge in the Cederberg to recruit an energetic and creative HEAD CHEF to join their Team.
A food portfolio must be submitted with your application that clearly displays your creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.

Requirements: 2 – 3 years relevant head chef experience in a high-end luxury lodge or hotel with a Culinary degree or diploma from a reputable institution.
A creative and passionate candidate with knowledge of diverse cuisines and modern cooking methods, who has exceptional guest interaction and hosting skills.
Skilled in overseeing daily kitchen operations including managing staff, budget & supplier management, stock control, and minimizing waste.
Strong menu creation skills using fresh, seasonal, and high-quality local farm-to-table ingredients in line with budget and food costings.
Exceptional leader with the ability to motivate, train, and mentor a team.
The ability to work under pressure and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Experience in a high-end intimate luxury lodge, boutique hotel, or equivalent restaurant environment will be an advantage.
Valid SA driver's license.
Excellent track record with contactable references.
Start: ASAP Package: up to 35k negotiable DOE.
Accommodation and meals provided.
Work Cycle: 3 weeks on, 1 week off.
