To develop, maintain and govern the Engineering Business Architecture, operating and capability model, in collaboration with the Engineering Executive committee and other stakeholders across regions, segments and domains. To analyse the current landscape and prepare proposals with a long-term view of growing the Engineering Business Architecture function.
JOB FUNCTIONS Act as a subject matter expert in the development of business architecture framework development, tool suite selection and design and methodology development
Advocate and drive adoption of best practices to ensure standardisation of business architecture outputs across the Engineering function
Align Engineering strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding products and services; partners and suppliers; organisation; capabilities; and key business and technology initiatives and programmes
Articulate major issues and challenges in respect of the technology and operations industry and operating capabilities through competitor and market trend analysis in support of the Engineering strategy and objectives
Capture the tactical and strategic goals across the Engineering function, that provide traceability through the organisation and ensure mapping to metrics that provide ongoing governance
Clarify strategic objectives and influence priorities, consistent with the overall Engineering goals and objectives, contributing to organisational transformation initiatives
Continuously review the Engineering capability landscape and cascade changes to the Engineering portfolios and regions
Create and maintain business capability, data, process and technology inventories and work collaboratively with multiple capability and functional teams to gather and document the structure of the technology landscape
Create various artefacts such as capability model, capability heat maps, capability maturity and impact assessments, capability health assessments and capability roadmaps in support of the Engineering strategy
Create, maintain and govern the Engineering Business Architecture, operating and capability model, in collaboration with the Engineering Executive committee and stakeholders, realising and enabling the Engineering strategy across regions
Define and maintain the organisation model for Engineering, defining, assessing and recommending approaches to sustain the required operating capabilities

Experience in strategy definition and planning. Proven experience working with cross-functional teams fostering collaboration and team work. Experience in engaging with a broad spectrum of stakeholders including senior executives. Good understanding of the banking industry and related

Broad experience in IT development lifecycles and knowledge of the infrastructure and operations of an IT environment, as well as typical run the bank service monitoring functions and change the bank functions

Good working knowledge and experience with the implementation and management of capabilities and frameworks within a corporate environment. Proven track record in the development and management of business architecture, operating and capability models. Exposure to organisation design and development
