Key Responsibilities:As a Hardware Development Engineer, your role will encompass:Design & Development: Engage in the formal design, development, implementation, and verification of both mechanical and electronic systems and subsystems.Architectural Input: Contribute to high-level design architectures and interfaces, as well as detailed low-level designs and verifications.Project Contributions: Deliver comprehensive engineering outputs for projects, including design documentation and verification artifacts.Systems Engineering Processes: Implement relevant systems engineering processes, plans, and policies for specific projects.Production Support: Assist with production tasks such as procurement, supplier management, assembly, testing, environmental stress screening, and qualification.Flexible Support Role: Provide minor support across various company functions as needed.Qualifications:Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering (BSc Eng/BEng) or equivalent.Essential Skills:Proficiency in CAD, mechanical design, 3D modeling, thermal analysis, structural simulation, electronic design (both analog and digital), PCB design (Altium), and embedded programming (primarily in C).Preferred Experience:2-3 years of relevant industry or post-graduate experience.Familiarity with CAM production techniques (e.g., laser cutting, machining, 3D printing).Knowledge of high-speed routing, PCIe, SATA, Gigabit Ethernet, FPGA design, and VHDL.A Masters Degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (MSc Eng/MEng) is advantageous.General Skills:Quick learner with the ability to absorb new information rapidly.Strong collaborative skills for teamwork on large projects.Capability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.High level of proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written.Ready to make an impact?
