Key Accountabilities/ Principal Responsibilities Primary DutiesTechnical RequestsComplete non-technical requestsFacility maintenanceAd-hoc dutiesEnsure compliance to Health and Safety ActAttend to client complaints / requests and ensure all calls are logged at the helpdeskCommunicate repairs / feedback to FM via Forcelink / daily report Technical RequestsAssist in corrective, planned and preventative maintenanceRepairs to all building fabric, carpentry and joineryRepairs to locks, handles hinges and accessoriesRepairs to venue seating, panels and fittingsConduct minor building repairs, maintenance and paintingMaintain tool boxes and equipmentReport all technical defects and assist in rectifyingPerform daily routine building inspections and report to line managerManage general housekeeping and tools register Secondary DutiesMove office furnitureAssist in unloading big deliveriesMove unused furniture or equipment to storeMaintain neatness of storesCompile Store Stock SheetFamiliarise with the layout and facilities of the site and adhere to the client house rulesEstablish and maintain a good working relationship with the management and staff of the site where basedAdhere to ad-hoc reasonable requests from management Facility MaintenanceInspect all facilities are in good working orderInspect tiling and paved surfacesInspect all partitioning, ceilings, roof and building structureInspect windows and doors are all in good orderInspect all painted surfaces are in good orderReport / communicate defects / repairs to ManagerMinimum RequirementsGrade 12Min 2 year working experience in built environmentValid code 08 driver's licenseGood comprehension of English / Afrikaans language
