Job DescriptionA small clothing industry business is looking for an experienced half-day Bookkeeper to join their team. You'll have the opportunity to contribute your expertise while enjoying the flexibility of half-day, permanent employment in the office.The successful candidate will be pivotal in maintaining the business's financial health. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will ensure that the financial statements are reliable and compliant.Responsibilities:Full Bookkeeping function to Balance SheetReconciling of Control Accounts to ensure accuracy and month-end closureData capturing and reconciling of DebtorsData capturing, reconciling, and paying of monthly CreditorsEnsure that the relevant financial transactions are accurate, and information is documented and stored appropriatelyStock managementHR and Payroll-processManage leave balances and all Statutory returnsOnboarding of new employeesMonthly management account reportingPreparation for annual Audit and coordination with Auditor to ensure smooth auditPrepare budgets and cash-flow forecastsRequirementsProven bookkeeping experienceSolid understanding of accounting principlesFamiliarity with general ledger functionsProficiency in Microsoft Office and PastelValid driver's license and own vehicleBenefitsHalf-day: Monday - Friday (09:00 - 14:00)
