Our client in the health industry is looking for a Hadoop Administrator with Linux and Kubernetes experience to be part of this winning team. Requirements: Tertiary qualifications: Computer Science, Information Systems or similarCertification in Hadoop Development.Hadoop experience to include - HIVE, Pig, Spark, Impala, Oozie, Sqoop, and Map ReduceKnowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.Familiarity with data loading tools like Flume, Sqoop and Kafka.Knowledge of workflow/schedulers like Oozie.Analytical and problem-solving skills, applied to Big Data domainIn-depth knowledge of Data Warehouse and Big Data best practices.Working experience with Docker and KubernetesLinux experience essential Reference Number for this position is GZ59604 which is a permanent Hybrid position offering a cost to company salary of R1.1m per annum
