GUEST SERVICE COORDINATOR WANTED – LUXURY GAME LODGE, GRAHAMSTOWN

What You'll Be Doing:

Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, bar, cellar, and lounge
Manage stock and storerooms, conducting regular inventories
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service
Train and manage staff to maintain top-notch service standards
Handle guest complaints swiftly and effectively
Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless meal service
Report to lodge managers and maintain open communication with Front of House and kitchen staff
Present menus and wine lists with flair
Assist with Guest Delight stops and special requests

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Guest Relations Officer and Restaurant Manager
Excellent communication skills and the ability to host international guests
Positive attitude and high energy – a true people person!
Deep knowledge of wines and food service to upsell effectively
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Ability to handle stressful situations with poise
Flexibility to work split shifts and maintain a well-groomed appearance
Valid driver's license
